What new features are available for students in Acellus HD?
Acellus HD delivers improved video lessons with a modern, mobile-friendly and intuitive interface. New video and assessment retake tools make it easier than ever for students to get extra help or re-start a practice quiz or an exam. There are enhanced student goal features with completion notifications. Estimated course completion dates automatically update as a student progresses through a course to provide an easy reference on how their work is paying off. High-definition videos will also be made available upon release, with resolutions subject to bandwidth availability at the student location.

How can I view a course syllabus?
Parents can view a syllabus within each course that shows upcoming lessons and exams. In Acellus HD, parents can even preview upcoming lessons by watching the lesson videos. To access the syllabus, please complete the following: Parent Sign In >> Select a Student >> Select a Course >> Syllabus List

I am starting our first year of homeschool and I can’t wait to use this program.
Power Homeschool has been a real game changer for me as a homeschooling mom. My husband was skeptical about homeschooling our 8th grader but this school takes care of all his concerns. My daughter does all her subjects without complaints, and even has exams and help when needed. This will mark two years with Acellus/Power Homeschool. My kids, and I both love the program versus others we have used. My kids love their age appropriate videos, and the way they break things down and explain it. I don’t ever see us leaving the program. When my younger child sees a Acellus/Power Homeschool ad he always yells and points “THATS MY TEACHER!!”
We’ve been using Power Homeschool for five years. We love how the program adapts to our student’s educational needs. Middle School is usually a huge transition; moreso when you’re only 10, so we love Power Homeschool for the way it supports our self motivated learner.

I am knew to this homeschool system. How do I know if my child is at the pace he needs to be? Am trying to follow regular school vacations schedule. We absolutely love this program.
We are completely self-paced so you get complete control over your student’s schedule. When you select a student in your parent interface, you will see an estimated course completion date next to each course. By increasing or decreasing your student’s Weekly Goal, the estimated course completion date will also adjust so you can see exactly when your student will finish by if they are meeting their goal each week. Thank you Acellus. Your program is awesome. We went through several homeschool programs and I’m so thankful I found this one. As the parent, I don’t have to spend even half as much of the time as I did with other programs. It’s simple to navigate and my daughter loves it too. She logs on by herself and doesn’t ask me for any help. Shes making straight A’s, where as before she was suffering and not confident at all.
How do we watch the required science videos weekly since we are on a scholarship? Where do I locate the videos?

Thank you, Power Homeschool for allowing children to learn much easier. Since my grandchildren started the Power Homeschool, there has been less stress in the house. Even I was struggling with their former homeschool. I am so glad we found this program. My grandson will graduate next year and already completed one course for the yeaŕ but my granddaughter is in 6th grade. She has more confidence now that she doesn’t have to rush or give up in frustration because there are 6 classes and work from all of them every day plus special projects and portfolios with deadlines.
