Course Overview
The Acellus Public Speaking course prepares students with essential communication skills through an in-depth exploration of key concepts, including managing anxiety, analyzing audience needs, and sourcing reliable information to create compelling presentations. Students will develop the ability to structure their speeches clearly and logically. They will be able to incorporate precise language and effective rhetorical strategies, while refining delivery techniques such as vocal expression, body language, and audience connection. The course includes both persuasive and informative speechwriting, empowering students to shape opinions and share knowledge with confidence. In addition, students will gain experience adapting to a range of speaking situations—from structured presentations to spontaneous remarks—building the flexibility and self-assurance needed to communicate effectively in a variety of real-world settings!
