ESL Learning
Discover English – Part 2 is a full‑year high school elective that builds on the foundational ESL education from Part 1, guiding students into more confident, everyday English through the Discover teaching method. It opens with lessons about school life, greetings, routines, and personal interests—covering vocabulary like colors, family, emotions, and home essentials. Each unit blends fun reading passages, real-world dialogues, and listening exercises that make learning practical. Students grow their vocabulary, improve conversational flow, and deepen their grasp of basic grammar through meaningful practice.
As the course unfolds, students dive into broader real-world topics—jobs, transportation, community, technology, pets, sports, nature, weather, seasons, hobbies, entertainment, and even fashion. Along the way, they master key grammar and language tools: verbs, adjectives, time expressions, numbers, question forms, and idioms. Through well-rounded reading, speaking, and listening activities, learners build stronger comprehension, descriptive skills, and conversation confidence. Regular practice, along with unit check-ins and mid- and end-of-year assessments, ensures students are ready for more advanced academic English and everyday communication outside the classroom.
